The Liquid Propane and Natural Gas burning variants of the Asia 48" Fire Pit include a Penta 24" 200K BTU burner. This burner provides a flame that is great for small to medium sized gatherings. The package also includes a whistle free flex line, Dante valve, burner plate, and lava rock. We hope your Fire Pit Art® provides many wonderful memories for your family and friends.

Match Lit System: We utilize the very best technology and components for gas fuel conversions at Fire Pit Art®. This is why we now use the patented Stainless Steel Penta burner designed by HPC. Their burner provides a uniform & full campfire effect for your fire pit and works well with the lava rock that is included. HPC also includes a lifetime warranty with your burner for added peace of mind.
AWEIS System: All Weather Electronic Ignition System includes 24 volt AC Transformer, Fire Module, Heat Shield and Install Instructions. For those who wish the ease and sophistication available with electronic ignition we add state of the art AWEIS electronic ignition manufactured at Fire by Design®. AWEIS provides electronic ignition and flame sensing when that gas configuration is selected. Follow the exact system’s installation, ventilation, drainage and maintenance requirements. Its name does not mean operation is guaranteed in every weather condition.

What are the key features of the Asia 48" Fire Pit?

The Asia 48 has a low-profile fire bowl. Gas versions are described with a 24-inch Penta burner rated up to 200,000 BTU/h, flex line, valve, burner plate and lava rock. Choose the fuel and ignition configuration before ordering. Gas-burner components are for the selected natural-gas or propane version; a wood-burning variant does not include a gas burner or AWEIS ignition.

What type of ignition systems are available for the Asia 48" Fire Pit?

Gas versions may be offered with match-lit or optional AWEIS electronic ignition. AWEIS provides ignition and flame sensing subject to installation and operating requirements; it is not an unconditional windproof guarantee.

Can wood be burned in a gas version?

No. The AWEIS instructions specify natural gas or LP gas only, with no solid fuels. Order the wood-burning version if that is the intended fuel.

What warranty options are available with the Asia 48" Fire Pit?

The advertised HPC burner warranty concerns the applicable supplied gas burner, not the whole fire pit or every ignition component. Confirm the written terms for the selected version.

Can the Asia 48" Fire Pit be used for gatherings of varying sizes?

The gas version’s 200,000-BTU/h burner rating does not establish a safe gathering size. Follow the manufacturer’s clearances and operating instructions, keep people and combustibles clear of the flame, and use outdoors only.
