How does it work ?

Lifeguard Purification Systems Inc.has adapted NASA technology to bring you a copper-and-silver ionization system for pool water care. Safe variable low voltage DC current is conducted into the chamber and electrolysis takes place. Positively charged ions of copper and silver are released into the water. Follow the manufacturer’s water-care instructions for oxidation, filtration and testing. Since copper/silver ions do not oxidize (burn-up) sweat, hair oil, bird droppings, etc., an oxidizer treatment is still required. Follow the manufacturer’s water-care program and the oxidizer label, using water tests and pool conditions to determine treatment needs. Oxidizer demand depends on pool conditions. Test the water and follow the product labels and manufacturer’s operating instructions.

How Does Chlorine Purification Differ From Copper/Silver Ion Purification ? Chlorine is used for oxidation and disinfection. Copper/silver ionization does not oxidize organic waste. The manufacturer’s care program includes oxidation and monitoring copper levels; follow the manual and treatment labels.
