The Harmsco HUR 40 with Specialty Coating is a Hurricane single-cartridge housing for process water and demanding filtration applications. Its carbon-steel vessel has a fusion-bonded epoxy finish. Hurricane upflow action separates dense solids before cartridge filtration, helping reduce the load on the filter media.

Actual flow depends on cartridge media, micron rating, fluid viscosity and solids loading. The coating brochure lists a maximum of 175°F and pH 5–12, subject to operating conditions and chemical compatibility. Confirm suitability for your application before installation.
