Jack’s Magic The Blue Stuff Metal Solution Too is a sequestrant for metal stain and scale control, particularly copper-related problems. The manufacturer also identifies use during start-up and stain treatments, and notes stability at higher chlorine levels for many fountain and water-feature applications.

The initial dose is 1 quart per 10,000 gallons. For maintenance, add 6–8 ounces per 10,000 gallons weekly. With the pump circulating, pour around the pool perimeter and allow 15 minutes of circulation before swimming. Follow the container label.

For existing stains, identify the stain and follow the appropriate complete Stain Solution treatment procedure. Do not use Blue Stuff with ionizers or mineral systems; Jack’s Magic recommends its Ionizer Stuff for those systems. Suitability for pool finishes does not guarantee against damage from incorrect use.
