Jack’s Magic The Magenta Stuff helps prevent staining and scaling, control plaster dust during pool start-up, and clean and reduce scaling in salt chlorine generator cells. It does not yield phosphates; this does not replace the pool’s sanitizer or guarantee algae-free water.

The manufacturer specifies 1 quart per 15,000 gallons initially and 6–8 ounces per 15,000 gallons weekly for maintenance. With the pump circulating, pour around the pool perimeter and allow 15 minutes of circulation before swimming. Follow the container label.

For scale treatment, Jack’s Magic specifies use with Stain Solution #2 and the complete treatment directions. Do not use Magenta Stuff with ionizers or mineral systems; the manufacturer recommends its Ionizer Stuff for those systems.
