Jack’s Magic Stain Solution #2, The Copper & Scale Stuff, is intended to remove copper stains and scale without draining the pool. This listing is for a 5-pound bucket; the manufacturer’s treatment dose is 10 pounds per 10,000 gallons, so one bucket is not a full dose for that pool volume.

Confirm a positive result with the Jack’s Magic Stain ID Kit before treatment. Follow the complete manufacturer procedure for water balance, the specified sequestrant, application and recovery. Water must be above 65°F. Isolate heaters and heat pumps, including titanium heat exchangers; turn off salt generators and isolate or remove ionizers, mineral systems and chemical feeders as directed. Contact Jack’s Magic for pools larger than 35,000 gallons or system-specific assistance.

Run the pump continuously during treatment. Swimming is not permitted until treatment is complete and the water has been rebalanced. Treatment can take 48 hours to several weeks. Chlorine readings can be affected after treatment; follow the manufacturer’s testing and re-chlorination guidance rather than adding shock to chase a reading.
