Rainbow 300-29X commercial off-line feeder R171070 is a freestanding, off-line chlorine/bromine feeder for pool and spa circulation systems. It is not the different 320-series in-line feeder.
Uses a 1/2-inch control valve and feeder tubing. Holds up to twenty-nine large or 237 small tablets; published treatment capacity is approximately 80,000–322,000 gallons, depending on dosage and feed conditions.
Use only the manufacturer-approved slow-dissolving trichlor or bromine tablets. Do not mix chemicals or use calcium hypochlorite. Maximum operating pressure is 50 PSI. Follow the exact model’s plumbing and recharging instructions; the feeder outlet must return downstream of the heater, or downstream of the filter where no heater is installed.
The enclosed system requires no special venting during operation. Fumes can be released when opened, so follow the manual’s shutdown, draining and handling precautions.
