With its combination centrifugal separator and upflow cartridge filter design, the HUR 90 separates dense solids prior to cartridge filtration. The pressurized water from the pump is close coupled into the tangential inlet nipple, which accelerates rotationally to develop a cyclone separation. This effectively separates debris before the water rises upward into the inner chamber, where rotational forces collide with the angled pleated cartridge media. This continuous flow distributes debris evenly over 100% of the media, eliminating blind spots and reducing the need for frequent cleaning.

The HUR 90 can filter particles from 20 microns down to 3-5 microns, ensuring clean and clear pool water. It has a maximum flow rate of 90 GPM and can accommodate pool sizes of up to 22,300 gallons. The filter has a filter area of 90 sq.ft., a filter height of 31 inches, and a floor space of 15 inches by 15 inches. It has an inlet/outlet pipe size of 2" NPT and a drain pipe size of 1" NPT.
