Armor Shield Oval Pool Liner Protection Floor Pad

Unlike traditional foam padding, Armor Shield is a Polypropylene Geotextile material that prevents cuts and punctures to the vinyl liner caused by rocks, roots and even GLASS making the armor shield a MUST HAVE for any and every owner of an above ground pool!

Armor Shield provides a super strong and important protective layer between a vinyl swimming pool liner and the pools sand or soil base.  Armor Shield also reduces convective heat loss and provides a comfortable floor pad for tired feet.Geotextiles are permeable fabrics which when used in association with soil, have the ability to separate, filter, reinforce, protect or drain.  Geotextiles have a wide range of applications and are currently used in many civil engineering applications including roads, airfields, railroads, embankments, retaining structures, etc.

GLI makes redemption of your warranty easy. Simply be sure to keep a dated copy of the purchase invoice for both the GLI Liner and the Armor Shield protector in your records. If a defect should occur, send a copy to our Customer Card department along with a photo/digital image of the defective area. Just like that, your warranty will take effect and a replacement liner or repaired liner will be issued. Armor Shield will provide your pool such an incredible level of protection that we will extend your GLI Above Ground Liner warranty by 3 years when installed with Armor Shield.
